Beach House Aruba - Terms & Conditions

Beach House Aruba is a division of ARUBA ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT N.V., registered in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in ARUBA.

General
The apartments featured are offered as accommodations for two persons (more persons add US$ 25 each) on a nightly basis with a 3day minimum stay, (less then 3days add US$ 25 per stay). Check-in after 3pm on date of arrival, check-out before 11am on date of departure.

Cancellation Protection

We strongly recommend that you use a holiday cancellation insurance to cover the cost of your holiday. This will provide you with piece of mind if an unforeseen event forces you to cancel your holiday.

Payment for your Holiday in 2 steps
We have tried to make paying for your holiday as simple as possible.

1. Deposit
For all bookings we ask a deposit at the value of 1 night plus tax after making the booking. This is to guarantee the booking. This payment can be made by bank-transfer or by using your credit card (sorry we don’t have American Express). 

2. Payment Remaining amount:

Bookings between JAN 06 – DEC 18 (Low and Mid Season)
You won’t be charged any further (after the payment of the deposit) until your arrival day.

You can make the remaining payment:
- by bank transfer before your arrival. 
- on your arrival day in Cash, with travelers-checks, or by credit card (in this case +3.85% credit card costs).

Bookings between DEC 19 – JAN 05 (High Season)
You won’t be charged any further (after the payment of the deposit) until 30 days before your arrival.
30 days before arrival, we will ask a pre-authorization from your credit card to cover the remaining amount. That is not a payment just an assurance of the booking, so your credit card will not be charged. At the moment of payment the pre-authorization will be withdrawn.

You can make the remaining payment:
- by bank transfer before your arrival. 
- on your arrival day in Cash, with travelers-checks, or by credit card (in this
  case the preauthorization can be effectuated +3.85% credit card costs).


Cancelation & Refunds

Bookings between JAN 06 – DEC 18 (Low and Mid Season)
Cancellations for Bookings in-between JAN.6 and DEC.18 will lead to forfeiture of the paid deposit (one room night including tax + 3.85% credit card costs).

Bookings between DEC 19 – JAN 05 (High Season)
Cancellations for Bookings in-between DEC.19 and JAN.05:
- More than 30 days before arrival will lead to forfeiture of the paid deposit
- within less than 30 days before arrival or "no-show up": incur a 100% charge
  (all room nights charged including tax)
 
Refund Policy
If the reason for cancellation is not covered by your insurance scheme, we will, in any event, endeavor to re-let the unit and, if successful, we will make a refund to the value of the re-let period, less a small administration charge. Accordingly, it is important that cancellations are intimated to us by e-mail followed by immediate written confirmation.

Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. Therefore we use the latest, most secure technology available, which encrypts all your personal and credit card details. (The encryption method used is the industry standard "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) technology). Unfortunately, no system of transmitting data over the internet, can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to use commercially acceptable standards to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You provide all such information at your own risk.

Your credit card details will be kept until your departure date at the Beach House. After this date the information will be deleted.

Equipment
Each property is fully furnished & equipped and includes pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, etc.

Linen
All bedrooms are supplied with pillows, (two per person) and bed linen. A bath-towel and hand-towel per person. Dishtowels are also provided and included in the price.

Cleaning
All units are cleaned thoroughly every day, except on Sundays.

Complaints
It is important to us at Beach House Aruba that guests enjoy their holiday. Every effort has been made to ensure this. However, in the unlikely event of dissatisfaction with the property or any subsequent problem, the guests should immediately contact us, so that we have the opportunity to rectify the problem.

Terms & Conditions of Hire
The personal belongings of the guest shall be at the risk of the guest. Beach House Aruba shall not be liable for any damages or loss off these belongings. The use of the property and facilities (e.g. pool and deck) are for the risk of the guest. Beach House Aruba shall not be liable for any damage or safety-issues of the guest or any member of his party, arising any course or act by any person whomsoever or whatsoever. The guest shall notify Beach House Aruba or its representative of any repairs necessary upon moving in and of any damage caused by the guest during the stay. The guest is responsible for any additional amounts needed to cover repairs or damages caused by the guest.

The guest warrants that the apartments are to be used for the purposes of a Holiday.

The guest is responsible for any member of his party and shall undertake everything to prevent noise, damage or anything else that can disturb other guests during their stay at Beach House Aruba.

Beach House Aruba reserves the right of entry to the properties at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out repairs or maintenance.

Controlling Law
All agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Aruba and each of the parties submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Aruba.
